History professor Dana Frank contributes op-ed to San Francisco Chronicle about crisis in Honduras

Professor of history Dana Frank has contributed an op-ed piece titled President Obama's Honduran Test to today's San Francisco Chronicle about Sunday's coup in Honduras.

Frank is the author of Bananeras: Women Transforming the Banana Unions of Latin America. She received the "Book of the Year" award from the International Labor History Association for her previous book Buy American: The Untold Story of Economic Nationalism.

Frank's work has appeared in a number of newspapers and periodicals including the Washington Post and The Nation. She is also cofounder of the Center for Labor Studies at UCSC.

Frank was honored with an Excellence in Teaching Award by UCSC’s Academic Senate Committee on Teaching in 2001.
