STARR MITCHELL
History, Literature
2022-23 O'Neill Memorial Scholar
My name is Starr Mitchell and I am double majoring in Literature and History (Americas and Africa). I am also a lead peer mentor for the EOP Bridge program on campus. I was born and raised in Stockton, CA and have always had a passion for reading, writing, and art. One of my fondest memories is constantly watching the History Channel with my dad on the three channels we got through the antenna. I think it was these times spent with my dad (and playing each and every Assassin's Creed game) that gave me a desire to study and a passion to research within the field of History. My other greatest passions are my two dogs (Harley and Lucy) and swimming as much as I can. I hope that, in the future, I can be as amazing and intelligent as the History and Literature faculty members who have supported me along the way.
