Jacqueline Nowak
History, Anthropology
I am a third year undergraduate History and Anthropology double major, working towards a minor in classical studies. Throughout my time at UCSC I have specialized in archaeology and ancient history, taking a particular interest in the culture and material record of the ancient Mediterranean. My exploration of ancient Greek in my proposed classical studies minor has allowed me to dive more deeply into my passion for classical history and archaeology. A passion that I hope to pursue in my future academic pursuits as I continue studying the art, archaeology, language, mythology, and stories of people who lived full and complicated lives thousands of years ago.
