Biography, Education and Training

Eli Erlick is a Ph.D. candidate in Feminist Studies, where she researches social movements and political theory. She received her B.A. in Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies from Pitzer College in 2016. She is the co-founder and former director of Trans Student Educational Resources (www.transstudent.org), a national youth-led organization dedicated to transforming the educational environment for transgender students. Eli co-founded the organization at the age of sixteen in 2011 while attending high school in rural Northern California. It has since grown to one of the largest transgender organizations in the country.

Eli is a Westly Foundation, Peace First, and Amaphiko fellow and has been recognized internationally by Glamour Magazine, NPR, and Teen Vogue alongside numerous other publications.
