What You’ll Do – Digital Marketing and Operations Intern
This internship involves documenting and formalizing existing procedures within the organization, which often rely on the institutional knowledge of its members. Responsibilities include collaboratively developing templates, drafting, and finalizing procedures while conducting interviews with knowledgeable board members to capture critical insights. Additionally, the role entails contributing to the development and enhancement of database systems to improve organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Communications (50%): Update the Squarespace website. Help with posting on social media channels by designing graphics, writing captions, and monitoring comments when needed. Share ideas and help create strategies to grow our social media presence.
- Operations (45%): Create a process to document procedures for both hybrid and in-person settings. Set up ongoing monitoring of social media and regular posting (stories, posts, polls, etc.). Assist in developing a digital template for documenting procedures and help interview people familiar with these procedures to gather information. This information will come from rough drafts submitted by Board members and sometimes via Zoom. Suggest improvements for our existing database systems and help develop new ones.
